By accessing this website and using any of the services or functions of this site, the Client agrees that the entire agreement between the Client and SamProp (Pty) Ltd (or CoffeeTableBooks.co.za, hereinafter called “Studio22”), as per the terms and conditions stated below, will govern all future contractual relationships between the parties.
1. DETAILED DESCRIPTION OF GOODS AND SERVICES
SamProp (Pty) Ltd trading as Studio22 is a business in the photographic industry that markets photo books, printing services, and related products.
2. ORDERS & DELIVERIES
Orders
Prices listed on this site are not guaranteed and can change without notice. Studio22 may, in its sole discretion, decline any or all orders placed on this site where prices are not accurate at the time of a supplier price update or change.
This website may contain links to other websites; we are not responsible for content displayed on those websites, and any material or content on those websites are to be used for reference purposes only.
If the description of any goods contained on this website or invoice varies from the manufacturer’s description, the manufacturer’s description will be deemed to be the correct description and shall take precedence over all descriptions found on this website.
The client hereby confirms that the goods and services on the invoice issued duly represent the goods and services ordered by the client at the prices agreed to by the client and that, where performance or delivery has already taken place, the services and goods were inspected and conform to the quality and quantity ordered. It is the sole responsibility of the client to determine that the goods or services ordered are suitable for the purpose the client intends to use them.
All orders, whether oral, in writing, or placed on this website, will be binding and subject to these terms and conditions.
Deliveries
Requests for any or all items ordered on our site will be processed within 2 (two) days and will only be cleared for delivery once the funds have been verified as paid into our account, as confirmed by email. Prompt payment should be made to receive your items as quickly as possible. Studio22 shall be entitled in its sole discretion to split the delivery of the goods ordered in the quantities and on the dates it decides.
Goods requiring shipping will be transported by RAM Couriers or Speed Service Couriers. Additional courier fees may apply. We may do partial shipments of items that are in stock and deliver the remaining items when they are ready, but we will inform you of this and it will be your choice. Shipping times are estimates and subject to factors beyond our control, such as customs checks or supplier delays. Shipping costs are the responsibility of the client. We will ship back repaired or replaced items at the client’s expense.
Once the goods have been received, it is the responsibility of the customer to inspect them and notify Studio22 within 48 hours of any issues. If incorrect items are received, Studio22 will arrange for collection of the items and delivery of the correct ones. If the items have been opened or tampered with, the customer will be liable for any charges or non-credit from our suppliers. Liability is limited to the cost of repair, replacement, or granting of a credit at Studio22’s sole discretion.
If the goods are defective, the rights of the client are limited to the factory guarantee of the goods supplied. Guarantee claims must be supported by the original tax invoice and undamaged packaging. All guarantees are null and void if equipment is tampered with or seals are broken by anyone other than the supplier. Studio22 will not be liable for damage arising from misuse or abuse of the goods.
All items are subject to availability. If the items ordered are not available, Studio22 will inform you and place the order on back-order. You can contact us for stock updates.
You may also pick up your purchase at our premises by appointment. We will inform you when your purchase is ready for collection.
3. PAYMENTS
Accepted Payment Options
Studio22 accepts payments via MasterCard and Visa credit cards, or by bank transfer to the Colin Sunkel Photography CC bank account, details of which will be provided on request.
Credit Card Acquiring and Security
Studio22 abides by a strict privacy policy. Credit card transactions are securely processed via PayGate (Pty) Ltd, a registered payment gateway for Standard Bank, which uses SSL3 encryption. No credit card information is stored on our website. Customer details are stored separately from card details, which are entered securely on PayGate’s site.
Credit Card Payments
When paying for your order, the transaction details are presented to the bank for authorization. Studio22 reserves the right to request ID documents and credit card billing statements for verification. Studio22 reserves the right to refuse shipment to customers who refuse to provide requested information or whose information is suspicious.
Bank Transfer Payments
For bank transfers, the exact amount must be paid with the order number or surname in the reference section. EFT payments need to be verified by our accounts department before goods are dispatched.
Refunds for bank transfers may take up to 5 working days. Requests for refunds must be sent to info@studio22.co.za.
4. PRIVACY & SECURITY

Use of Personal Information
Studio22 will take reasonable steps to protect your personal information. We will only use your personal information to process your order, improve our services, and fulfill any warranty requirements from our suppliers. Your information will not be shared with third parties unless required by law.
Security
Studio22 has taken reasonable measures to secure your account information from unauthorized access. You must enter your email/phone number and password to access your account or make transactions. Do not share your account details. You can change your password if you believe it has been compromised.
5. RETURN & REFUNDS POLICY
In the event that you are not satisfied with your purchase or experience any issues, please refer to the options below. We are committed to operating in accordance with the Consumer Protection Act, and all policies are subject to applicable law.
Returns & Exchanges
We will refund or exchange most goods within 10 days of purchase with the original invoice. Goods returned after this period will attract a handling and restocking fee.
In cases of unavailability, Studio22 will refund the client in full within 30 days.
Cancellations
Under the Electronic Communications and Transactions Act, you may cancel any sale within 7 days of receipt and receive a full refund within 30 days, subject to a 5% administration fee for cancellations.
Studio22 reserves the right to cancel any order due to force majeure, such as labor shortages, strikes, or acts of God.
Return Conditions
Products must be in original condition and packaging. Returns are at the customer’s expense, including courier fees. For exchanges, the customer is responsible for both return and reshipment courier fees.
Exclusions
Software, DVDs, special orders, custom orders, and goods sold as damaged, defective, or used cannot be returned unless defective.
Defective Goods
If goods are defective within 6 months, Studio22 will repair, replace, or refund them. Goods may be referred to the manufacturer for assessment. For defects outside of the 6-month period but within the manufacturer’s warranty, Studio22 will arrange repairs. No repairs will be made without customer approval.
Warranty Conditions
Certain products may be covered by manufacturer warranties. Studio22 is not responsible for defects due to misuse or accidental damage.
