Money-Back Guarantee Terms and Conditions:

At Studio22, we take pride in providing our customers with high-quality photo books created using our proprietary software, Studio22 Creator. However, we understand that sometimes things may not go as planned, and that is why we offer a money-back guarantee for your peace of mind.

If you are not satisfied with your photo book for any reason, you may request a refund within 7 days of receiving the product. To request a refund, please contact our customer service team via e-mail at wecare@studio22.co.za and provide your order number along with a reason for the request. Please attach any images that might assist in showing this issue.

To be eligible for a refund, the photo book must be returned to us in its original condition within 21 days of receiving the product, with no marks, scratches, or damage. You will need to arrange for your own courier and will be liable for any fees associated with the return.

If the issue is related to colour, density, or image quality, it must affect all of the pages. This means that if the colour issue affects only some or part of the pages, there is another issue, and we will assist you in finding a solution. The money-back guarantee does not apply to issues related to content, such as errors in spelling, alignment, grammar, or punctuation.

Please note that this Guarantee applies to one copy only. If you intend to make many copies, it is recommended to print one complete book first as a proof, and we will then ensure that the copies are uniform and match.

This Guarantee does not affect your statutory rights as a consumer. We reserve the right to change these terms and conditions at any time without notice, and the latest version will always be available on our website.

Refunds will be processed within 30 days of the provider receiving the client’s request and approving the refund. The provider reserves the right to refuse a refund request if the client has not followed the instructions for submitting a claim.

We reserve the right to refuse a refund if we suspect that the Guarantee is being abused or taken advantage of. This includes but is not limited to repeated refund requests, unreasonable or excessive refund requests, and fraudulent activity.

Please be aware that our money-back guarantee is based on the use of our proprietary photo book creation software, which has been designed to ensure optimal print quality, procedures, and customer satisfaction. If a customer submits an order via alternative software, we cannot guarantee that the quality of the final product will meet our standards, as the alternative software may result in, among other things, formatting issues that affect the overall appearance of the photo book. As a result, we cannot offer our money-back guarantee on orders submitted via alternative software. We strongly recommend that customers use our proprietary photo book creation software to ensure the best possible results and to take advantage of our money-back guarantee policy. We recommend test prints as the best way to overcome image quality issues.

In the event we need to deliver an order, the same shipping option will apply as selected during the online ordering process.

By purchasing a photo book from us, you agree to these terms and conditions. If you have any questions or concerns about this Guarantee, please contact our customer service team at wecare@studio22.co.za.

Calibrated Screens:

Respecting the photographers and artists who use screen calibration devices and software, we would like to address an issue that we have noticed occurring frequently. It has been brought to our attention that some individuals may not take into account the lighting conditions of their environment when making colour adjustments to their images in software such as Lightroom or Photoshop, leading to images printing darker than expected. Our experience has shown that one of the most common oversights made by users is adjusting the brightness of their screens with the intention of improving image visibility. However, this can lead to an unintentional impact on the colour adjustments being made to the image. While the image may appear vibrant and bright on their screens, it does not necessarily represent the true colours of the image prior to screen adjustments being made.

We respectfully suggest that users take into consideration the lighting conditions of their environment when making colour adjustments. This will ensure that the final product accurately reflects the intended colours of the original image. To assist in providing a more accurate representation of the image, we recommend using a neutral grey background on the screen while making adjustments. Additionally, we suggest adjusting the screen’s brightness to an appropriate level for the lighting conditions in the room to minimize the risk of colour distortion.

We understand that colour adjustments are a critical aspect of producing high-quality images, and we are committed to providing the necessary support and guidance to ensure that our clients achieve the best possible results. Therefore, we hope that this advice will assist photographers and artists who use screen calibration devices and software in creating the best possible representation of their images and enhance their overall satisfaction with the final product.
